Victoria Symphony Education Concerts
The Victoria Symphony’s Education and Outreach concerts are designed for students in grades K to 7 in Victoria, Saanich, Sooke, Gulf Islands and Cowichan school districts as well as independent and home schools.
These concerts provide fun, accessible and engaging experiences while exposing students to the wonders of live classical music. Each year these concerts outreach to over 6,800 elementary school students on Vancouver Island.

The retelling of this classic tale is sure to delight as the audience follows unlucky Jack. Spectacular Spanish Bagpipes
You’ve never heard music like this before! Discovered by The Chieftains, Núñez is the undisputed master of the gaita, the Spanish bagpipes. His music draws on influences that range from Celtic (with a unique Spanish swing) to Medieval and Baroque and includes bagpipes, whistles, flutes and more. Núñez has collaborated with greats including The Chiefains, Jackson Brown and Linda Ronstadt. To quotes the UK Guardian, it’s ‘Pipe music as if played by a Coltrane or a Hendrix.”
